'여권 위조' 호나우지뉴, FIFA게임서 삭제 가능성 (英매체)

[인터풋볼] 오종헌 기자= 위조 여권 사용으로 사회적 물의를 일으킨 호나우지뉴의 게임 속 캐릭터가 삭제될 전망이다.

호나우지뉴는 지난 3월 위조 여권을 사용한 것이 발각되어 파라과이의 교도소에 수감됐다. 하지만 교도소 내 풋살 대회에 참가하는 등 의연한 생활을 이어갔다. 당초 호나우지뉴는 보석금을 지급하고 석방되길 원했다. 하지만 보석 신청이 기각되면서 징역 6개월을 모두 채울 예정이었다.

하지만 결국 호나우지뉴는 석방됐다. 스페인 `문도 데포르티보`는 8일(이하 한국시간) "호나우지뉴는 보석금 130만 파운드(약 19억 6,000만 원)을 내고 석방 조치를 받았다"고 보도했다. 그렇지만 호텔에서 가택연금 조치를 받아 완전한 자유는 아닌 것으로 알려졌다.

이런 상황에서 FIFA20의 제작사인 EA스포츠가 게임 내 호나우지뉴 캐릭터 삭제를 고려하고 있다. 영국 `토크스포르트`는 9일 아르헨티나 매체 `디아리오 올레`를 인용해 "EA스포츠는 교도소에서 32일 동안 수감된 호나우지뉴의 캐릭터를 삭제하는 방안을 고려 중이다"고 보도했다.

이어 이 매체는 "호나우지뉴는 FIFA게임모드인 `Ultimate team`모드에서 4개의 카드로 생성되어 있다. 각각의 능력치가 89, 91, 94, 95로 높아 유저들 사이에서 게임 내 최고의 선수 중 한 명으로 손꼽힌다"고 덧붙였다.

[풋볼리스트] 김정용 기자= 리오넬 메시의 첫 이적이 가능할까. 신종코로나바이러스감염증(코로나19)으로 유럽 축구가 뒤죽박죽이 되면서 메시, 크리스티아누 호날두 등 거물들의 이적설이 주목받고 있다.

인테르밀란의 메시 영입설이 화제다. 마시모 모라티 전 회장이 먼저 메시 영입 가능성을 거론했다. 인테르에서 선수, 코치, 스카우트로 일한 프랑스 출신 브누아 쿠에는 최근 인스타그램 라이브를 통해 "당연히 인테르는 메시를 영입할 수 있다. 가능한 일이라는 건 명백하다. 인테르를 운영 중인 중국 자본이 자금력과 야심을 모두 갖췄으며 슈퍼스타 영입에 관심이 많다는 이유를 들었다.

앞서 호날두 역시 이적설에 이름을 올리기 시작했다. 유벤투스가 호날두를 여름 이적시장에 내놓았으며, 전 소속팀인 레알마드리드와 맨체스터유나이티드가 관심을 보인다는 관측이다.

두 선수의 이적설 모두 코로나19로 촉발됐다. 메시는 최근 바르셀로나 구단과 지속적인 갈등을 겪어 왔다. 현역 시절 메시의 동료였던 에리크 아비달 기술이사가 익명의 선수를 비판하자, 메시가 이례적으로 인스타그램을 활용해 공개적인 반격을 했다. 이어 코로나19로 인해 바르셀로나 선수단이 일괄적으로 70% 연봉 삭감을 결정할 때, 메시는 고액 연봉자로서 먼저 감봉되는 것에 동의하면서도 "구단이 우리를 압박하려 한 것"에 대해서는 불편한 감정을 드러냈다. 여기에 코로나19 여파로 네이마르(파리생제르맹) 영입 등 전력보강이 잘 되지 않을 거라는 전망도 메시의 이적 가능성을 조금씩 높이는 요인이다.

호날두는 유벤투스가 감당할 수 없을 정도로 `유지비`가 높다는 점이 문제다. 유벤투스는 지난 2018년 33세 호날두를 영입하면서 1억 1,200만 유로(약 1,485억 원)를 지불했고 고액 연봉까지 감수하고 있다. 돈을 벌어야 하는 유벤투스는 호날두를 활용한 광고와 마케팅, 친선경기 등 다각도로 수익 보전을 위해 애써 왔다. 그러나 코로나19로 수익이 끊기면서 호날두의 인건비를 유지하기 힘들어졌다는 분석이 나온다.

코로나19가 아니었다면 지금 시점이 이적설이 나올 리 없는 선수들이었다. 메시의 이적설은 매 시즌 제기됐으나 모두 신빙성이 떨어졌다. 메시는 `원 클럽 맨`이다. 바르셀로나만큼 메시에게 많은 연봉을 줄 수 있는 팀도, 메시의 요구에 맞춰줄 수 있는 팀도 없다는 걸 누구나 알고 있었다. 호날두의 경우 유벤투스와 3년 계약을 맺고 이적한 뒤 성과를 내지 못한데다, 코로나19로 리그가 중단되기 직전 경기력이 최고였기 때문에 내칠 이유가 없는 선수였다. 코로나19로 인해 상황이 변했다.

반대로 이적설이 가장 강하게 제기됐던 네이마르는 PSG에 잔류할 가능성이 높다는 관측이 나오고 있다. 코로나19 여파로 2019/2020시즌이 전면 중단된 가운데 이적 시장이 언제 어떤 형태로 열릴지도 미정이다. 그 시장에 메시와 호날두가 `매물`로 등장한다면 유럽 축구 역사상 가장 뜨거운 관심을 받을 가능성이 높다.

[스포탈코리아] 김성진 기자= 리버풀 소식을 전하는 매체가 미나미노 타쿠미(25) 영입을 긍정적으로 평가했다.

‘리버풀닷컴’은 8일 미나미노에 대해 “아직 안필드에서 경력을 시작하지 못했지만 리버풀로서는 실패 위험이 매우 낮은 영입이다”라고 전했다.

미나미노는 이번 시즌 잘츠부르크에서의 활약을 통해 지난 1월 이적료 765만 파운드(약 115억원)를 기록하며 리버풀로 이적했다. 하지만 시즌 중단 전까지 공식전 7경기 출전에 그쳤고 공격포인트도 올리지 못했다. 프리미어리그에서는 3경기를 뛰었는데 모두 교체 출전이었다.

NBC 스포츠 분석..대기록 도전·FA·재기 노리는 선수 꼽아

[서울=뉴시스] 김희준 기자 = 올해 메이저리그(MLB) 정규시즌이 아예 취소된다면 가장 큰 마음의 상처를 받는 선수는 누구일까.

미국 NBC 스포츠는 9일(한국시간) 2020시즌이 취소되면 가장 상처받을 선수를 대기록에 도전하는 선수, 자유계약선수(FA)를 앞둔 선수, 재기를 노리는 선수로 나눠 꼽았다.

가장 첫 손에 꼽은 선수는 디트로이트 타이거스의 간판 타자 미겔 카브레라다. 지난 시즌까지 477개의 홈런을 때려낸 카브레라는 500홈런까지 23개를 남겨두고 있다.

NBC 스포츠는 "카브레라는 2017년부터 지난해까지 한 시즌에 17홈런 이상을 때려낸 적이 없지만, 이르면 2021년에는 500홈런을 달성할 수 있다"면서 "올해로 37세인 카브레라는 2023년까지 계약이 돼 있지만, 나이를 생각하면 채울 수 있을지 미지수다. 올 시즌이 취소되면 은퇴 전까지 500홈런을 달성하지 못할 수 있다"고 설명했다.

현역 최고의 타자로 손꼽히는 마이크 트라우트(29·LA 에인절스)도 타격을 입을만한 선수다.

개인 통산 285홈런을 기록 중인 트라우트는 올해 정규시즌이 정상적으로 열렸다면 300홈런 달성이 유력했다. 만 27세까지 트라우트보다 많은 홈런을 친 것은 단 4명 뿐이다. 또 903득점을 기록 중이라 1000득점 달성도 눈앞에 뒀다.

만약 올 시즌이 통째로 취소될 경우 트라우트의 역대 순위에는 큰 변화가 있을 수 있다.

세인트루이스 카디널스의 베테랑 포수 야디에르 몰리나(38)는 올해 정규시즌이 취소되면 개인 통산 2000안타 달성을 2021년으로 미뤄야 한다. 몰리나는 지난해까지 개인 통산 1963안타를 기록했다.

2020시즌을 마치고 FA 자격을 얻는 선수들에게도 시즌 취소는 달갑지 않다.

NBC 스포츠는 "올해 정규시즌이 개막하더라도 이미 연기된 상황에서 각 구단들이 경제적인 손해를 보고 있다"며 "이로 인해 각 팀들이 FA 시장에서 인색한 모습을 보일 것"이라고 전망했다.

2020시즌 뒤 대박을 노리는 무키 베츠(28·LA 다저스)와 J.T.리얼무토(29·필라델피아 필리스)에게 FA 시장 한파는 반갑지 않은 일이다. NBC 스포츠는 제임스 매캔, 하위 켄드릭, 율리에스키 구리엘, DJ 르메이유, 디디 그레고리우스 등 준척급 FA들이 정말 큰 타격을 입을 것이라고 전망했다.

NBC 스포츠는 올해와 내년 신인 드래프트에 참가하는 아마추어 선수와 해외 아마추어 선수들도 타격을 입을 대상이라고 분석했다.

MLB 사무국과 MLB 선수노조는 지난달 말 올 시즌이 취소되더라도 선수들의 등록일수를 지난해와 동일하게 보장하기로 했다. 대신 40라운드로 진행되는 신인 드래프트를 올해 5라운드, 2021년 20라운드 줄이기로 했다. 또 해외 아마추어 선수 계약 일정도 연기했다.

NBC 스포츠는 "올해와 내년 신인 드래프트가 단축되면 미지명 선수들은 대거 FA가 되거나 다음해 신인 드래프트에 다시 나설 것이다. 해외 아마추어 선수 계약 일정이 연기되면 많은 선수가 한꺼번에 몰릴 수 있다"며 "이럴 경우 선수 자원이 많아져 구단들에 이득이 될 것"이라고 설명했다.

2020시즌이 취소될 경우 재기를 노리던 선수들의 실망감도 클 것으로 보인다.

팔꿈치 인대접합 수술로 인한 재활을 마치고 투타 겸업에 재도전하는 오타니 쇼헤이(26·에인절스)도 투수 복귀를 한 해 미뤄야 한다.

또 올해 부활을 노리는 안드렐톤 시몬스(31·에인절스), 조이 보토(37·신시내티 레즈)도 올 시즌이 취소되면 아쉬울 선수들이다.
